Well we are back home in the states ( work on Monday!).

We had a great time staying at the farm in your amazing house and will treasure the many photos we took whilst we were there.

We didn’t realise that Bulgaria had so much to offer and staying with you in Nikolovo just added icing to the cake.

Please send us some recipes of the meals you made us we have never tasted so many tasty dishes and we are going to impress our friends here with a few.

We had a great time and wish we were still over there enjoying the sunshine and your company, and the pigs of course.

Just posting this e-mail on the web to let everyone know of a super place called Nikolovo in the Haskovo district of Bulgaria. We have just purchased a property in Nikolovo and have now been here 11 months and couldnt be happier.

The one thing that helped us to get started is the two fantastic people who run the local guest house in Nikolovo.
We stayed there for two weeks while our house was being completed.
They saw us through a few crisis along the way, like our car breaking down and they came out to tow us, loosing our passports and lots more.

Treepigs is a wonderful guest house,it offers so much, you can go out fishing, bird watching, sight seeing, shopping, and the owners will be with you to advise every step of the way.

You can even have cookery lessosn with Garry and Gabriella' make your own made piccilli, chutney or,bread............ whatever takes your fancy.

They are serious good cooks.
If the season is right you can have a wonderful bar-b-que maybe even a hog roast, which is produced from their own pigs.

The accommodation is homely, beautiful breakfast, packed hamper if you want to go fishing, they also have a superb wine at a very reasonable cost to have with your evening meal, or during the day if you are like us!!

We cant rate it enough, just check out their web site and go from there. You have so many things of interest in this area you will be amazed, plus you have a town about twenty minutes up the road in two directions for those who want to shop at really good prices.

We love it here so if you want a central place to stay and explore we cant recommend 'Treepigs' more highly, its such a convenient point for so many places.

Thanks Gary and Gabriella for our wonderful stay and all we have learnt from you about growing your own veg cooking wildlife and the list goes on..

Our dear bulgarian friends, 30.8.09

A month has gone by and we are on our last day in Bulgaria. Yael will be at home by the time you read this and Netta will be in Albania (she was suppose to go to Macedonia but changed plans). We love Bulgaria and enjoyed our trip very much. We have you to thank for it!

Each one of you contributed to our positive experience of this country. We are grateful and appreciative, and we hope we can do the same for you when you come to Israel.
